He parses ecstasy,
clutters delight with periodic stops,
elucidates the joyful syntax of romantic fusion,
punctuated by high expectations.
His grammar is precise
as he diagrams in pluperfect tense,
corrects love's fragmented sentences,
dissembles
the heart of the matter
(in passive voice, of course).
While searching for sub textual synonyms,
nose stuck in Webster,
his beloved splits for infinity
with a grocer bearing roses.
